Questions for Students to answer. Students must read through the questions and do research via the internet to help find answers to these questions.

1) Please type out your answers on a MS Word Document.
2) Include your name, class and index number on the top of the document.
3) Submit the hardcopy to me in the first class of Term 4 that you have.

3. Atomic Bomb Questions:


1. What would have happened if the United States had not dropped the Atomic Bombs on Japan?
2. Were there any viable alternative methods of ending the War in the Pacific?
3. Do you think the second bomb dropped on Nagasaki was justified?
4. How do you feel about the death and destruction these bombs caused in Japan and to its people?


4. Worksheet Activity:


Please complete the worksheet/graphic organiser on reasons for and against the dropping of the bomb. All work to be submitted in hardcopy during the first class of Term 4.
